Calculates the number of wallpaper rolls needed to cover a room.
The wallpaper calculator works out exactly how many rolls a room needs, accounting for ceiling height and pattern repeat, so you neither run short nor overbuy.
Strips per roll = Roll length ÷ (Room height + Pattern repeat) Strips needed = Room perimeter ÷ Strip width Rolls = ⌈Strips needed ÷ Strips per roll⌉
A 5 × 4 m room, 15 m of wall (ignoring openings), 2.7 m ceiling. Roll 10 × 0.53 m, repeat 0. Strips per roll = 10 / 2.7 = 3.7 → 3. Strips needed = 15 / 0.53 = 28.3 → 29. Rolls = 29 / 3 = 9.7 → 10 rolls.
