Calculates the amount of tile adhesive needed for a tiling job.
The tile adhesive calculator works out how many bags you need to lay tiles, based on the area and the consumption rate. Consumption depends on the trowel notch: from 4 kg/m² (6 mm notch) up to 8 kg/m² (12 mm notch).
Kg = tiling area × consumption (kg/m²) Bags = kg ÷ bag weight, rounded up. Defaults: 25 kg/bag, 4–6 kg/m² for floors, 3–4 kg/m² for walls.
A bathroom with 6 m² of floor and 10 m² of walls, 16 m² in total. At 6 kg/m² for the floor and 4 kg/m² for the walls: 6 × 6 + 10 × 4 = 76 kg. In 25 kg bags: 76 / 25 = 3.04 → 4 bags.
