Concrete (m³) = perimeter × width × depth × 1.05 Rebar = (4 bars × perimeter × 1.1) + (stirrups × section perimeter × 1.1) Formwork = 2 × perimeter × depth × 1.05
Perimeter 40 m, section 0.4 × 1.5 m, 5% waste. Concrete: 40 × 0.4 × 1.5 × 1.05 = 25.2 m³. Rebar: 4 bars + stirrups at 0.5 m spacing = 510 m. Formwork: 126 m².
