The steps calculator converts step count into distance (km) and calories burned, and shows what percentage of the WHO recommended daily norm of 10,000 steps you have reached.
Stride length ≈ height × 0.413–0.45 (varies by pace). Distance = steps × stride. kcal = weight × distance(km) × pace factor (0.8–1.0).
10,000 steps, 70 kg, height 175 cm, normal pace: stride = 0.72 m, distance = 7.2 km, kcal ≈ 70 × 7.2 × 0.9 ≈ 454 kcal.
