Volume (m³) = area × layer thickness Weight (t) = volume × density (1.2 t/m³) If needed: bags = volume × 1,000 L / bag volume
15 m² of beds, 0.3 m layer. Volume: 15 × 0.3 = 4.5 m³. Weight: 4.5 × 1.2 = 5.4 t. That is 90 bags of 50 L.
