The sauna heater power calculator works out the heater output you need from the volume of the steam room and the type of walls.
Power (kW) = volume (m³) × 1.2 (timber) or 1.5 (brick/block) A window adds 0.2 kW/m³. Round to the nearest 0.5 kW.
A 3 × 2 × 2.2 m steam room = 13.2 m³, log walls, no window. Power: 13.2 × 1.2 = 15.84 → 16 kW.
