Slope length = √(ridge height² + (house width / 2)²) Area = slope length × house length × number of slopes
A 10 × 8 m house, ridge height 3 m, 2 slopes. Slope: √(3² + 4²) = √25 = 5 m. Area: 5 × 10 × 2 = 100 m².
