Protein (g) = weight (kg) × norm (g/kg). Norms: weight loss 1.6–2.0 g/kg, maintenance 1.2–1.6, muscle gain 1.6–2.2, sport 1.8–2.5 g/kg — depending on activity.
70 kg, muscle gain, moderate activity: 70 × 2.0 = 140 g protein/day = 560 kcal from protein.
