The timber volume calculator works out the cubic volume and weight of boards or beams from the quantity, length and cross-section.
Volume (m³) = quantity × length × width × thickness Weight (kg) = volume × density (500 kg/m³ for pine)
50 boards of 6 × 0.15 × 0.05 m (150 × 50 section). Volume: 50 × 6 × 0.15 × 0.05 = 2.25 m³. Weight: 2.25 × 500 = 1,125 kg.
