The roll-out lawn (turf) calculator works out how many rolls you need to green a plot. The standard roll is 0.4 × 2 m = 0.8 m².
Rolls = ⌈area × (1 + waste / 100) / roll area⌉ Standard waste margin: 5% for trimming
30 m² of lawn, 5% waste, 0.8 m² roll. Total: 30 × 1.05 = 31.5 m². Rolls: ⌈31.5 / 0.8⌉ = 40.
