The grout calculator works out how many bags you need to fill the joints between tiles, based on the area and the tile dimensions.
Kg = area × (tile width + tile height) × joint width × 1700 / (tile width × tile height) Bags = ⌈kg / bag weight⌉
Room 4 × 3 m = 12 m², tile 30 × 30 cm, joint 3 mm. Kg: 12 × 0.6 × 0.003 × 1700 / 0.09 = 408 kg → ⌈408 / 5⌉ = 82 bags.
