Volume (m³) = area × layer thickness × (1 + waste / 100) Weight (t) = volume × density (1.5 t/m³) Rounded up to the nearest 0.1 m³
Yard 20 m², 15 cm layer (0.15 m), 10% waste. Volume: 20 × 0.15 × 1.1 = 3.3 m³. Weight: 3.3 × 1.5 = 5 t.
