EBITDA Calculator — Free Online Calculator

Calculates EBITDA from revenue and operating expense inputs.

What is it?

EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) is a widely used proxy for a business's operating cash generation, independent of financing and accounting choices.

Formula

EBITDA = Revenue − COGS − Operating expenses + Depreciation + Amortisation = Net income + Interest + Taxes + D&A EBITDA margin = EBITDA / Revenue × 100%

Example

Revenue $500,000; COGS $200,000; Opex $150,000; D&A $30,000. EBIT = $500k − $200k − $150k = $150k. EBITDA = $150k + $30k = $180k. Margin = 180/500 = 36%.
