The concrete calculator works out the volume of concrete needed for a slab or foundation, and estimates the quantities of cement, sand, and gravel for a standard mix.
Volume (m³) = Length × Width × Thickness Standard C20 mix (1:2:4 by volume): Cement = Volume × 320 kg/m³ Sand = Volume × 600 kg/m³ Gravel = Volume × 1,200 kg/m³
Slab 4 m × 3 m × 0.12 m = 1.44 m³. Cement ≈ 461 kg (~9 × 50 kg bags). Sand ≈ 864 kg. Gravel ≈ 1,728 kg.
