Estimates tiles and adhesive needed to tile a bathroom.
The bathroom tile calculator works out the number of tiles for the walls and floor separately, accounting for door and window openings and a cutting allowance.
Wall area = 2 × (length + width) × height − openings Floor area = length × width Tiles = ⌈area / area of one tile × 1.1⌉ for each surface
Bathroom 2.5 × 1.5 × 2.5 m, tile 30 × 60 cm, door 1.5 m². Walls: 2 × (2.5 + 1.5) × 2.5 − 1.5 = 18.5 m² → 112 tiles. Floor: 2.5 × 1.5 = 3.8 m² → 23 tiles. Total: 135 tiles.
